In the afternoon, halfday city tour 13:00-13:30: , take a half-day city tour to visit the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans, and the Reunification Palace the South Vietnam President’s residence and symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until end of April 1975. After breakfast, 7:30am: Our guide pick you up at your hotel to go to Cu Chi Tunnel for one and half hours by mini van. The peacefully rural rice paddy scenery contains ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers along the side of road. You will find it hard to imagine the destructions, damage and defoliation all over the area, caused by bombing and mines, when Cu Chi was “A Free Target Zone “. The remnants you will see that Cu Chi still has her evidence to prove the fierce battleground that took place there. Ever wonder what it feels like to fire an AK-47? Breakfast at hotel 7:30AM: We will depart from Cu Chi to My Tho city for two hours by car. Upon arrival to My Tho City, The boat take you to small canal, where is the place you totally escape from the busy town. The boat cruise in the coconut trees canal takes you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. We disembark and have a walk around the village. Stop at a local family to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea, honey wine and listen to Vietnamese traditional music, performance by the villagers. Lunch at local restaurant.
Continue walking on the village’s road to coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, show some handicraft made by coconut tree. Take a walk through village with two sides there are so many kind of fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, children in Mekong delta, take your time to have nice photos and enjoy nature scenery. 17:00 – 17:30 going back Ho Chi Minh City.. Arrive to Phnompenh after 6hours driving, welcome by tour guide and driver at the bus station then continue to check in hotel.
This afternoon, start to visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90kilograms and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. We will also discover The Central Market is a market and an art deco landmark in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, a great place to hunt for souvenirs, curios, and silks. Breakfast at hotel: Transfer by driver only to the bus station to depart bus from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, transfer to check in hotel. Then afternoon, we visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Dinner at local restaurant. Breakfast at hotel: Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature.
Note: During the visit of the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat Temple - Visitors are required to wear proper attire, covering shoulders and knees (no short, miniskirt or short trousers). - Visitors have to be in the queue and waiting to climb up the Bakan Tower of Angkor Wat - Children under twelve years old are not allowed to climb up this tower. - It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabath Days, the Buddhist religious days (four days a month).
