Baratang Island

Baratang Island is an island of the Andaman Islands. It belongs to the North and Middle Andaman administrative district, part of the Indian union territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The island lies 150 km north of Port Blair.

Baratang is famous for its natural wonders; from impressive Limestone Caves and dense mangrove creeks. There are tidal swamp forests and small but fascinating Mud Volcanoes. It is the first gateway up north from the capital city, located between the Middle and South of Andaman.

Day 1 Arrive at Port Blair

Upon arrival in Port Blair, check-in to your hotel
After breakfast, begin your journey to Baratang Island, which is approximately 100 km away
En route, take a boat ride through the dense mangrove forests at Middle Strait Jetty to reach the Limestone Caves
Explore the caves and learn about their history and formation
Continue to Baratang Island and check-in to your accommodation
Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy dinner at the hotel

Day 2 Boat ride to reach the Parrot Island

Enjoy breakfast and then take a boat ride from Baratang Jetty to Parrot Island
Witness thousands of parrots returning to their nests during sunset
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 visit the famous Mud Volcano on the island

After breakfast, visit the Mud Volcano, a unique natural phenomenon on the island
Trek to the site and observe natural gases emitting from the earth, creating small mud eruptions
Return to the hotel, check-out and head back to Port Blair
En route, visit the Cellular Jail and Anthropological Museum
In the evening, go to the Marina Park to witness the light and sound show at the Cellular Jail and enjoy the scenic view of the sea
Spend the night at your Port Blair hotel.

Day 4 Trip to Ross Island

After breakfast, take a day trip to Ross Island, formerly the administrative headquarters of the British in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands
Explore the ruins and remnants of the island’s colonial past, including the old church, cemetery, and other buildings
Return to Port Blair in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 Visit North Bay Island

After breakfast, visit North Bay Island, known for its coral reefs and marine life
Participate in activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, or glass-bottom boat rides to observe the colorful coral reefs and marine creatures
Return to Port Blair in the evening and enjoy leisure time
Spend the night at your Port Blair hotel.

Day 6 Departure

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

There may be a full cancellation penalty on the products or services booked and purchased, which are non-utilized or cancelled after the cancellation deadline mentioned in the terms and conditions, while making the purchase.

Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to decline any booking or purchase for any reason and shall not be held liable for any resulting claims of losses, damages or compensation. In such an event, Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd. shall refund to you all unutilized money collected from you for that purchase.

For bookings and purchases, which has already been paid by you, when cancelled, refunds will be made (based on the refund policy, mentioned in terms and conditions, while making the booking or at the time of purchase). For air ticket, it may take between 15 - 21 working days, for the hotels it may take between 15 - 21 working days for the amount to get credited into your account and for the holiday Package it may take between 30 - 45 working days for the amount to get credited into your account. 1. 45 days or more prior to the departure date or from the booking date, Initial Booking Amount, or cancellation charges whichever is higher (non-refundable and non-transferable) an additional amount of visa fee will be forfeited (in case visa has been applied).
2. Between 30 days: 75% of the total tour cost will be charged as penalty or cancellation charges whichever is higher (non-refundable and non-transferable) an additional amount of visa fee will be forfeited (in case visa has been applied).
3. Less than 21 days: 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as penalty
4. No show total amount will be forfeited and no refund shall be given.
5. The cancellation policy is subject to change. It purely depends upon the cancellation policy of respective hotels. In Peaks seasons, some hotels may charge 100% cancellation

Credit Card Chargeback Fees:
Any fees charged to Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd by our credit card payment provider arising from a chargeback or a disputed charge on the cardholder's credit card will be charged to the cardholder. This fee is non-refundable.

Cancellation Due to Visa Rejection
All the clients traveling on Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd tour must be in possession of a valid visa. The client shall ensure that the Visa Application Form (s) is duly filled and verified by the Client, to its satisfaction, before it is submitted to the Embassy. / Consulate. However, kindly note that it is entirely at the discretion of the concerned Consulate / Authorities to grant/reject visas even after submitting all relevant documents and the company will not be held responsible for the same. The company is not at all liable for such cases or has any influence on the consulate/embassy’s decision The role of the company is only to provide necessary guidance to the client for the purpose of applying for VISA. The company will not be responsible for the non-issuance of visas due to receipt of incomplete/delayed documents from the Clients. It is a possibility that the consulate may ask the passengers to appear for a personal interview. This is at the sole discretion of the Consulate / Authorities. If the required documents are not submitted by the client, the issuance of the visa will further be delayed/rejected, and the client will not hold Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd liable for the same. The client should adhere to all the norms and conditions laid by the consulate/embassy Upon rejection of visa, if the client wishes to reapply for the visa, he/she is liable to pay again the requisite fee to the consulate and he/she will not claim from Trip Sarathi Pvt. Ltd

Force Majeure
Acts of God (including exceptional adverse weather conditions), earthquake, fire, war (declared or undeclared), invasion, rebellion, revolt, riot, civil commotion, civil war, nuclear fission, epidemic strike, act(s) of omission/commission by any concerned government(s), or government agencies, judicial or quasijudicial authorities, the occurrence of any event can force the Company to change or extended. Hence any additional expenditure occurred due to the above reasons the same will be borne by the passengers.
