Overview

Indian ordinary-passport holders travelling for tourism may qualify for Thailand's 30-day visa exemption, effective from 15 September 2026 until further announcement. Eligible travellers should not be sold a visa application they do not need. Entry conditions and the permitted stay are decided by the Thai authorities.

TripSarathi can help you check the route for your passport and purpose, plan supporting travel documents and understand current arrival requirements. Visa-exempt entry is different from a tourist e-Visa. For another nationality, a longer stay or a different purpose, the appropriate visa route must be assessed separately.

Any assistance is optional and quoted separately before you proceed. No visa application fee is implied for an eligible visa-exempt visit. Recheck eligibility, passport requirements and arrival formalities before travel. Guidance checked on 24 October 2026. Official reference: https://newdelhi.thaiembassy.org/en/page/visa
